* Rita Rudner, Wendy Leibman and Mitch Hedberg remain a part of the list
after a year of voting. Sara Silverman was knocked off almost immediately and
deleted from the nomination list. Emo
Phillips spent a good portion of the year on the list until finally being
knocked off by Red Skelton. Louis CK continues an impressive climb all the way
to #81. He was 98 on Comedy Central’s original list. Jim Gaffigan and Doug
Stanhope are new to the list knocking off Jeneane Garafalo and Russell Peters. Honorable
mention to Peter Sellers, Jimmy Carr, Daniel Tosh, Jerry Lewis and Rodney
Carrington.
A new 100 winners will be announced on 05/05/10. There will also
be a similar pole for the greatest comic actors of all time & the greatest
comedy films.
